4th September 2004

The storms today were under a cold middle to upper layer pool of air. Temperatures at 500mb were edging towards -30C. The small hail here at Nowra was typical of what these storms produced.

I watched a few late afternoon bolts from the weak storms near Nowra. At sunset one cell moved offshore Black Head, Gerringong.
